We are excited to present some extracurricular events for our Club Bead attendees to enjoy. We are thrilled to be back in the USA! On a recent visit to the host city, Myriam and Bob scouted out a few interesting places and activities for you to enjoy.

  • A field trip to a local bead shop on Thursday morning
  • A bonus class with Nancy Cain on Thursday afternoon
  • A Fabulous Trunk Show, featuring goodies from your instructors, on Thursday evening.
  • Our annual cocktail party, Thursday evening, together with the Trunk Show
  • Group Rates to Cirque de Soleil’s Mystère on Friday evening.

Field Trip

Thursday, February 19th, 9:00(ish) am to noon.

We’re going on a field trip to Bead Haven, a local bead shop located about 15 minutes from the hotel. Bead Haven is a full service bead store, catering to all beading disciplines. They offer a large selection of Japanese Delicas, seed beads and pearls, along with a selection of Czech Glass beads, from fire polish crystal to pressed glass and one of a kind styles. They stock Swarovski crystals exclusively, with a large range of styles to choose from. Bead Haven also  offers natural stone strands, coral, shell, turquoise, amber, and pearls.

Transport will leave the hotel at approximately 9 am and will depart the bead shop at 11:30 am. We will be back at the hotel by noon.

SFJAG will provide a shuttle bus that will hold up to 31 people. Cost per person will be $20.00. Signups will be first-come, first-served. The shop is about 15 minutes from the hotel, so you are welcome to visit on your own if you can’t make the shuttle.

Affinity Earrings – Bonus Class

Thursday, November 19th, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Mauve Colorway

Nancy Cain will be teaching a bonus class Thursday afternoon from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm featuring her Affinity Earrings.

The class is limited to the first 20 registrants. You may bring your own materials or pre-purchase a kit for the class.

A notice will be sent to registered attendees with the materials list and an option to purchase a kit. Two colorways will be available: Mauve (shown on the left), and Aqua.
