Getting Wabi Sabi With Liquid Clay by Lynn Yuhr
The relatively new liquid polymer clay opens up a whole new world of creativity. Come and explore a wide variety of techniques that include stamping, stenciling, and mark making. We will begin to understand the physical properties of liquid clay and how they can be used. These techniques embrace the wabi sabi (creative imperfections) resulting in sophisticated and unique designs. A sampling of three projects (earrings, pendant and pin) will be completed as you will discover some fun applications of liquid polymer clay.
Students will be introduced to liquid polymer clays, mixing colors, various application techniques unique to liquid polymer clays (stamping, texturing, patinas), and simple finishing techniques.
